PWI Joins EMA, Showcases Development Services at E-Business Forum 2000 Conference.

April 6, 2000 - PWI, a leading software technology and professional services firm, presented the software development services of its newly formed Messaging & Communications Solutions Group at the EMA E-Business Forum 2000 in Boston.

"The rapid evolution of electronic commerce has generated unprecedented demand for qualified technical resources to assist with messaging systems development and implementation," stated PWI CEO Greg Salvato. "PWI has been assisting some of the world's largest providers of messaging services ? we thrive on complex systems and have worked especially hard over the past few years to expand our high-caliber teams of development personnel."

PWI has provided system design and software programming for corporate customers like IBM, Internet Transaction Solutions, Inc. and FedEx as well as Messaging Service Providers including AT&T EasyLink Services. "A real challenge currently exists for large companies to take advantage of the powerful new messaging and e-commerce technologies while maintaining critical legacy systems," explained Dr. Konstantin Malkov, PWI Chief Technology Officer. "We have experts fluent across the messaging technology spectrum and can integrate established standards with those that are just emerging."

PWI became a member of the Electronic Messaging Association (EMA) earlier this year due to the organization's leadership role in helping to shape the e-business and messaging industry. "Given PWI's extensive work in messaging and its growing importance to e-business," Salvato noted, "it made perfect sense for us to formally distinguish PWI's Messaging & Communications Solutions Group and become more active with organizations, like the EMA, which support so strongly our industry. We are thrilled to be involved."

PWI will be exhibiting at EMA 2000 - 21st Century Messaging: An E-Business Imperative from April 6-8, 2000, at Boston's Hynes Convention Center.
