PWI teams to provide technology solutions to the Government of the District of Columbia's Office of the Chief Technology Officer

Red Bank, NJ -- December 12, 2002. PWI, Inc., today announced that it is partnering with Thompson, Cobb, Bazilio & Associates to provide development services to the Government of the District of Columbia, Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO).

OCTO plans, develops, and implements the use of new technology for District agencies to improve delivery of services. It is also responsible for managing and monitoring the citywide electronic messaging and Internet/LAN server environments.

The initial project entails the development and rollout of a web-based email tool designed to allow administrators within various District agencies to manage the many facets of user accounts and maintain compliance with security policies established by OCTO.
