November 16,
1999 - PWI, a leading software technology and professional
services firm, announced today that it has completed a project
for Staples that automatically prints electronic faxes the
company receives.
"Staples
needed the flexibility to automatically print eFaxes it
received", explains PWI President and COO, Greg Salvato,
"many of these electronic faxes are actually product
orders Staples receives from their customers. The printed fax
can serve as a pick list."
The utility can
print incoming faxes automatically, as a scheduled event, or
on demand.
"This
utility is another example of how an enterprise can leverage
ecommunications to improve efficiency and productivity",
concluded Salvato.
